Auction and Purchase Options
This is an online charitable silent auction conducted by Harper’s Home through its website in Durham, NC. The winning bidder will purchase the tickets described above.A $10,000 bid will offset our current operating costs to provide housing to families for approximately two months.
Buy It Now Option and Other Auction Rules:
The auction will commence at 12:00 pm EST on Sunday, March 1, 2026. A bidder may elect to immediately secure the tickets at a fixed purchase price of $25,000 for the two tickets. The first bidder to select the Buy It Now option will conclude the auction and the tickets will be awarded to that bidder.
If the Buy It Now option is not exercised, bidding will continue until the auction concludes on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at 4:00 pm EST. The highest bid received before the auction concludes at that time will be deemed the winning bid. The winning bidder is not required to be present at any specific location to claim the tickets.
Payment in full is due within 24 hours of the conclusion of the auction unless otherwise agreed in writing with Harper’s Home after the conclusion of the auction. If the winning bidder does not make payment in full within that 24-hour time period, that bidder’s bid will be null and void and the tickets will be sold to the person who submitted the next highest bid before the auction concluded. Tickets will be transferred to the winning bidder electronically upon receipt of payment in full. All sales are final.
The good faith estimated fair market value of the two tickets and parking pass is $10,000. Although Harper’s Home cannot and does not give tax advice, an amount paid above the estimated fair market value may be considered a charitable contribution to Harper’s Home to the extent permitted by law.
